Arrest made in shooting death of Tiffin man

TIFFIN -- A Tiffin man has been arrested and charged in the shooting death of another Tiffin man in the city today, authorities have confirmed.

Tiffin police said Damian Magers, 21, was charged with reckless homicide, a felony of the third degree, in the shooting of Thomas Nally, 24, who was fatally shot in the face.

Police responding to a report of a possible gunshot wound arrived about 6:10 a.m. at a residence at 199 Fourth Ave. and found the victim dead, police said in a news release. Two other males at the scene were questioned and released, police said.

Details of the shooting were not released.

The suspect was to be booked at the Seneca County Jail pending arraignment.

An autopsy will be conducted Saturday in Lucas County.
