Toledo police request help to solve slaying in city

Toledo police hope someone can help solve a homicide that happened in December.

Anthony Fizer, 42, was shot multiple times outside his residence at 523 Winfield Rd. near Collingwood Boulevard and Cherry Street, where police were called about 7:40 p.m. Dec. 10. He was taken to Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead just after 8 that night.

Police believe robbery was the motive. Witnesses said two men fled on foot.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers. Callers may remain anonymous and could qualify for a cash reward.
