ID of suspect in Michigan restaurant robbery needed

TIPTON, Mich. — Crime Stoppers of Lenawee is seeking information about a restaurant break-in in Lenawee County’s Franklin Township last month.

On Monday, deputies responded to motion alarms at 3:09 a.m. at the Cruise Inn, 6400 West U.S. 12, and found a door to the restaurant pried open.

A surveillance video shows a lone white man or a teenager enter the building, go to the bar area, take an undetermined amount of cash, and flee.

Footprints showed he fled through the door and entered a waiting vehicle.

The suspect is described by authorities as white with a medium build. He was wearing dark frame glasses, and a bandanna covered his face.
