A Toledo man was arrested Sunday after leading law enforcement officers on an early-morning chase with his truck.

Troopers from the Toledo post of the Ohio Highway Patrol attempted to stop Bryon L. Hageman, 43, at about 12:45 a.m. on Holland-Sylvania Road near South Avenue for reckless driving, according to the patrol.

A pursuit ensued, leading to a residence on Lincoln Green Street in Springfield Township, where the driver began to ram a police vehicle, troopers said.

Shots were fired at the suspect, who then fled again. He was arrested shortly after he was located in a parking lot on Hill Avenue and taken to Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center for minor injuries. He was then taken to the Lucas County jail on multiple charges.
