MOUNT CORY, Ohio -- A two-car crash today in Hancock County left two adults and two children with minor injuries.

The sheriff’s office said the crash occurred at about 10:20 a.m. at the intersection of State Rt. 235 and County Road 313 in Union Township, just south of Mount Cory. Authorities said Teresa Edelbrook, 42, of Bluffton was driving west on County Road 313 when a car driven by Megan Watson, 27, of Ada, who was driving north on State Rt. 235, entered the intersection. Authorities said the front ends of both cars collided at the intersection.

Ms. Watson and two children in her car were taken by ambulance to Bluffton Hospital, where they were treated for minor injuries and released, authorities said.

Ms. Edelbrook, whose car hit a utility pole, was taken by ambulance to the hospital for minor injuries. The hospital did not have her listed as a patient. Occupants of both cars were wearing seatbelts, and the children were in child-safety restraints.

Ms. Watson was cited for failure to yield at a stop sign, authorities said.
