East Toledo street closed due to vacant house fire

A vacant house fire today closed Nevada Street near Miami Street in East Toledo, authorities said.

There were no reports of injuries.

The fire was reported about 7:45 a.m. and the street was closed to traffic about 8 a.m. to protect a hose, Toledo police said.

As of 8:40 a.m., Nevada remained closed in both directions, police said.
