Police await autopsy results for BGSU student who died after run

BOWLING GREEN -- Police are investigating the death of a 22-year-old Bowling Green State University student who collapsed and died Sunday night after apparently going out for a run.

According to reports, police were called to Summit Street and Carr Avenue at about 7:30 p.m., Sunday for an unresponsive male lying by the sidewalk.

Bowling Green Fire Division EMS transported Mark Borsz, 22, of Lorain County, to Wood County Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Deputy Police Chief Tony Hetrick said there doesn't appear to be anything suspicious about the death. No physical injuries were observed.

Investigators are waiting for autopsy results from the Wood County Coroner's Office.
