Diesel spill cleaned up after West Toledo crash

Authorities cleaned up a crash scene today near West Sylvania Avenue and Bennett Road.

A 15-foot truck and a sport-utility type vehicle collided around 7:20 a.m., and the crash caused a diesel spill from the truck, said Sgt. Joe Heffernan. Authorities, including the fire department, responded and cleaned up the fuel, he said.

No injuries requiring hospitalization were reported.
