Police investigate death of B.G. student on a run

BOWLING GREEN — Police are investigating the death of a 22-year-old Bowling Green State University student who collapsed and died Sunday after apparently going out for a run.

According to reports, police were called to Summit Street and Carr Avenue at about 7:30 p.m., Sunday for an unresponsive male lying by the sidewalk.

Bowling Green Fire Division EMS transported Mark Borsz, 22, of Lorain County to Wood County Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Deputy Police Chief Tony Hetrick said there doesn't appear to be anything suspicious about the death. No physical injuries were observed.

Investigators are waiting for autopsy results.
