Information sought about Monroe fatality

MONROE — Michigan State Police are seeking information on a Monday night incident in which a Frenchtown Township woman was killed when she walked into the path of a vehicle on Telegraph Road.

The state police reported that Tamera Anne Rodak, 34, of Frenchtown Township entered Telegraph near Buhl Road and walked into the path of a northbound vehicle, which struck and killed her instantly just after 7 p.m. Monday.

Authorities said the driver remained at the scene and cooperated with their investigation. It appears the driver could not have done anything to avoid it, authorities said.
