Anthony McCormick, 41, of Lima, Ohio, arrested Feb. 26 for stealing a nail gun from Lowe's in Perrysburg, was found with marijuana on him during his intake at the court.

McCormick was charged with a drug abuse, a minor misdemeanor, and a first-degree theft misdemeanor. He could face up to six months in jail or a $1,000 fine for the theft.

The Perrysburg Township police arrested McCormick after he walked out of the store with a nail gun and another customer notified a nearby officer who pulled him over and found the nail gun. The police then took McCormick to Perrysburg Municipal Court where the bailiffs found marijuana on him during a search.

His bond was set at $1,500. He posted 10 percent, or $150, and was released. He will meet with the public defenders March 6 and a trial date will be set after that.
