PEMBERVILLE, Ohio -- The lock down at Eastwood High School has been lifted after Wood County sheriff's deputies searching lockers found no weapons or additional ammunition after live ammunition shells were found in a school bathroom earlier in the day.

Wood County Sheriff Mark Wasylyshyn said no weapons or other items have been found during the search. The lock down was lifted about 11:30 a.m.

In an alert sent to all parents, school officials wrote today that, "Our school resource officer was notified and there are multiple sheriff's deputies on site while the investigation is underway."

The alert said the school will remain on lock down until officials can find where the ammunition came from or all students are cleared of weapons and ammunition.

Pemberville is about 16 miles southeast of Toledo.
