Unidentified body found south of Fremont

FREMONT — The body of an unidentified person was found Sunday along a road south of Fremont near the Sandusky River, the Sandusky County Sheriff's Office said.

Authorities were called to the 1400 block of Sand Street near North Street, just outside the city limits, at 12:37 p.m.

No other details were available, a sheriff's dispatcher said.
