Victim Isaac Goff on life support at Toledo Hospital

Toledo police have identified Isaac Goff as the man who was injured in the hit-and-run incident that closed part of West Alexis to traffic today, authorities said.

Mr. Goff, 42, of Gribbin Lane was taken to Toledo Hospital, according to the Lucas County EMS. Police said he had suffered serious injuries and was put on life support.

The victim was found about 1:50 a.m. in the left westbound lane in front of 740 W. Alexis Rd., Toledo police said. There was no description of the vehicle, which had left the scene.

The incident closed westbound West Alexis to traffic for about an hour. Traffic on the road returned to normal about 3 a.m., police said.

The incident remains under investigation.
