3/22/2013

Toledo police are asking for help in solving a central-city homicide that occurred in 2010.

On Sept. 7 that year, Racole “Coco” Hill, 42, of South Toledo was shot and killed on Fernwood Avenue as she was arriving at a birthday party about 11:23 p.m.

Mrs. Hill died of internal bleeding after the single shot entered the base of her neck and lodged near her spine, authorities said.

Police said the bullet was probably meant for someone else.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Crime Stoppers program. Callers may remain anonymous and could be eligible for a cash reward.
