Police seek black man, about 5 feet, 6 inches tall

FINDLAY -- City police are seeking a man who robbed a convenience store early today while displaying a handgun.

The man entered the 7-Eleven store, 825 N. Main St., about 12:37 a.m. and demanded money, then fled on foot with an undetermined amount of cash, according to the report. No shots were fired and the clerk was not hurt.

The robber was believed to have fled to the north, but police search using the department's dog was unsuccessful. He is described as black, about 5 feet, 6 inches tall and weighing about 140 pounds, and appeared to be under 21 years old. He wore a black hooded sweatshirt with white trim and gray sweat pants.
