2 injured in one-vehicle crash near I-280 in Northwood

One man and one woman were taken to Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center after a one-vehicle crash near I-280 in Northwood tonight.

The crash occurred on the southbound access road to I-280 between Woodville and Curtice roads at about 8:50 p.m., according to the Northwood Police Department which was handling the incident along with first responders from Oregon and Lake Township.

A medical helicopter was called to the scene, but then canceled.

I-280 remains open, but the access road is closed.
