Clues needed on shots fired into car, home

Toledo police are asking for help in solving a shooting in the central city on Wednesday.

An occupied vehicle and an occupied house were shot into in the 1300 block of Fitchland Avenue about 12:20 p.m., police said.

No one was injured, police said.

Witnesses told police a man fired several shots while standing in an alley next to a house at 1397 Fitchland, according to a police report.

Police found two bullet holes in the car and one in the house at the Fitchland address, police said.

Anyone with information about the case is asked to call the Toledo Crime Stoppers program. Callers may remain anonymous and could qualify for a cash reward.
