Toledo Police seeking information on alleged armed robberies at local discount stores

Toledo Police are looking for information about two alleged armed robberies at local discount stores today. 

The first robbery occurred at Dollar General, 236 New Towne Square, at about 3:15 p.m., when a white, male suspect with brown hair, wearing a flannel jacket and red shirt, told a store clerk he had a gun, police report. The man then demanded money and fled with an undisclosed amount of cash in a burgundy Dodge truck.

The second robbery happened about 4:15 p.m. at Family Dollar, 5147 Suder Ave., where a black, male suspect, wearing jeans and a white hooded sweatshirt, displayed a handgun and demanded money. After getting an undisclosed amount of cash, the suspect fled on foot, according to police.
