Boy, 15, dies in ATV accident

GRAND RAPIDS, Ohio — A 15-year-old Grand Rapids boy was killed Sunday evening when he lost control of his all terrain vehicle in the 15500 block of Custar Road and struck a tree.

Devon Gray, who was not wearing a helmet, was taken by ambulance to Wood County Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, Wood County sheriff's deputies said.

The accident, which was reported at 7:02 p.m., occurred about 2 miles south of the village and north of U.S. Route 6.
