B.G.-area sting nets 8 solicitation arrests

BOWLING GREEN — Four men and four women were arrested at a hotel in the Bowling Green area for solicitation during a vice operation.

Those arrested Saturday were: Dawn Wilder, 33; Brittney Johnson, 27; Jessica Crowell, 23; Charity Duncan, 22; Sheron Grace, 31; Virgil Cannon, 52, all of Toledo; Burgess Parker, 30, of Findlay; and Antonio Humphrey, 27, of Bowling Green.

All were charged with solicitation-prostitution, a third-degree misdemeanor, except for the charge against Wilder, which was complicity to solicitation-prostitution, also a third-degree misdemeanor.

Wood County Sheriff’s Det. Chris Klewer said he was declining to release information about which hotel the arrests were made at so authorities could conduct future stings there.

The Wood County Sheriff’s Office was aided by the Bowling Green Police Department and Perrysburg Township Police. Those arrested were released pending court appearances in Bowling Green Municipal Court.
