Bowling Green street reopens after police had shut it down due to suspicious package

BOWLING GREEN -- Police have reopened North Enterprise Street more than 3 1/2 hours after they were notified of a suspicious package in the 500 block.

The package was found outside about 2:20 p.m. Police declared the area safe and allowed traffic to pass about 6 p.m.

No further information was released about the package.
