SANDUSKY - Two people who disappeared while kayaking along Lake Erie's Sandusky Bay in early April died as a result of accidental drowning, the Erie County coroner's office said today.

Jonathan France, 30, and his daughter, Viola, 12, had no injuries to their bodies to suggest they perished from anything other than drowning from a kayaking accident, according to a ruling issued by the coroner, Dr. Brian Baxter.

The bodies were recovered several miles apart nearly three weeks after the pair was reported missing.
