Gang sweep in Toledo results in 43 arrests

The Toledo Police Department, in connection with the Ohio Highway Patrol and other agencies, conducted a gang sweep in the city Thursday.

A search warrant executed at a house at 4047 Hermosa Ave., as well as patrols in high-gang activity areas, resulted in 43 arrests, Toledo police said. Items seized included three handguns, more than $1,500 in cash, and drugs with a $4,000 street value.
