I-75 southbound reopens near downtown

The southbound lanes of I-75 have reopened, according to a dispatcher with the Toledo police department.

The lanes were closed for almost four and a half hours on Monday night, after a rollover accident occurred near the South Avenue exit on I-75 near downtown Toledo. Major traffic delays were reported on both the interstate and the Anthony Wayne Trail, where traffic was diverted during cleanup.

Several rescue squads and fire trucks responded to the scene for the incident that occured at 5:30 p.m.

One female passenger was taken to a local hospital, a dispatcher said. He did not have details on the accident or the woman's injuries.
