Tips needed in BG art theft

BOWLING GREEN — Bowling Green State University police are seeking the public's help in investigating the theft of artwork and supplies from the university's Fine Arts Center sometime between May 1 and May 4.

The stolen artwork includes several sculptures and  jewelry made of precious metals. Multiple tools were also taken, including Dremel accessories, sanding pads, containers of paint, a knife, and a tackle box with silver and files.

Wood County Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible. Tips can be called in 24 hours a day at 1-800-54-CRIME or to BGSU police at 419-372-2346.
