A Toledo man who allegedly threatened to blow up a federal building was being held in the Lucas County jail Friday.
Kurtis Parish, 22, of 116 E. Central Ave., is charged with making a terroristic threat and is being held in lieu of $50,000 bond.
According to court documents, on May 22, Mr. Parish told a U.S. Marshal he had been “mistreated” by the federal government and the U.S. Marshals, which is why he wanted to blow up a building. He did not specify which federal building would be a target.
The suspect was arrested Tuesday and arraigned Wednesday.
He is scheduled for a preliminary hearing in Toledo Municipal Court on Thursday.
