Public’s help sought to solve break-in at BGSU arts center

BOWLING GREEN — Bowling Green State University police are seeking the public’s help in investigating the theft of artwork and supplies from the university’s Fine Arts Center sometime between May 1 and 4.

The stolen artwork includes several sculptures and jewelry made of precious metals. Multiple tools also were taken, including Dremel accessories, sanding pads, paint, a knife, and a tackle box with silver and files.

Wood County Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible.
