OAK HARBOR, Ohio -- Five people were injured in a minivan rollover crash near this Ottawa County community Tuesday, the Ohio Highway Patrol said.

Driver Amanda Spathelf, 36, of Oak Harbor, was taken to Mercy St. Vincent’s Medical Center, where her condition was unavailable, according to a hospital spokesman.

Four passengers, whose names weren't available, were taken to either Fremont Memorial Hospital or to Mercy St. Vincent’s Medical Center with unknown injuries, according to the patrol's Sandusky post.

The minivan was eastbound on Salem Carroll Road near Behlman Road -- on the Salem-Carroll township line -- about 6:25 p.m. when for unknown reasons it drove off the north side of the roadway, the post said. The vehicle then struck a utility pole and overturned, troopers said.

The crash remains under investigation.
