2 shot in South Toledo

At least two people were reported shot late Wednesday in separate South Toledo locations.

The first shooting was reported just before 10:30 p.m. at the Bel Aire mobile home court in the 3000 block of Nebraska Avenue, authorities said. The victim was taken by Life Squad to the University of Toledo Medical Center, the former Medical College of Ohio Hospital. The second shooting was reported after 11 p.m. in the 900 block of Byrneport Drive. The status of the second victim was not immediately known.

Toledo police remained at both shooting scenes to investigate.
