Class will teach citizens how to spot crimes

The Ohio Highway Patrol will offer citizen training in how to spot criminal behavior on the roadways Friday evening at its Toledo post near Swanton.

The one-hour Community Shield class offers instruction on impaired-driver detection, criminal patrol, homeland security, and human trafficking. Those who complete the class can receive complimentary Community Shield license-plate frames.

The class at the 10391 Airport Hwy. patrol post will start at 6 p.m. Advance registration is requested by calling 419-865-0910.
