Lima teen accused of obstruction in death

LIMA, Ohio — A Lima teen was in the Allen County jail Tuesday, charged with obstruction of justice.

Tayvon Brown, 19, is charged in connection with Monday’s slaying of Joshua Davenport, 20, of Lima, who was found shot in an alley behind the 700 block of East Albert Street. He later died at Lima Memorial Hospital. Police have not disclosed a motive.

A Lima Municipal Court spokesman did not know when Mr. Brown is to appear in court.
