Police find missing man near his residential facility

FINDLAY — A man missing since Thursday from the adult residential facility where he lived was found Saturday morning nearby, Findlay police said.

Residents of the facility reported seeing him in the area, and he walked up to officers when they arrived.

Thomas Duran, 35, was taken to Blanchard Valley Hospital for evaluation, and police continue to investigate his absence, but he was not harmed and no foul play is suspected, authorities said.

Police issued an alert after he was last seen at 4 a.m. Thursday, because he had no means of transportation and was believed to have not taken his medication for several days.
