A party at a known gang hangout was busted early Monday after officers were called there on a disturbance complaint.

Fifteen people were arrested, most for obstructing official business charges and outstanding warrants, according to a police report.

Police said about 50 people were at 2726 Lagrange St. in North Toledo when they arrived at 12:29 a.m. When officers tried to stop the people loitering outside, several fled, leading to foot pursuits.

Officials said the gathering was a “going-away party” for members of the Manor Boyz gang.

Two Manor Boyz, Keshawn Jennings and Antwaine Jones, were convicted Friday of aggravated murder and multiple other charges for firing 16 shots into a Moody Manor apartment Aug. 9, killing Keondra Hooks, 1, and wounding her sister, Leondra Hooks, now 3.

A third gang member, James Moore, is expected to plead guilty to involuntary manslaughter as part of a plea agreement after testifying against Jennings and Jones.
