21-year-old indicted 
in shooting incident

A Lucas County grand jury Wednesday indicted a Toledo man for allegedly shooting at his ex-girlfriend as she stood in a crowd at Dorr and Hoag streets last month.

Rasean Barringer, 21, of 1663 Woodland Ave. was indicted for discharge of a firearm upon or over a public road with a firearm specification.

According to court records, he opened fire from a rear passenger window of a vehicle as it passed the crowd that included Shanikquna Jones and about 30 others.

No injuries were reported.
