A Whitehouse man is in fair condition today after injuries he received when the vehicle he was driving was struck by a car traveling in the opposite direction in Waterville Township, Ohio Highway Patrol troopers reported.

At about 2:40 p.m., Robert T. Kerr, 51, was driving a car west on Weckerly Road,  when authorities said Haylee R. Leedy, 20, of Toledo, lost control of her eastbound vehicle and traveled left of center, hitting his car.

Mr. Kerr was flown to the University of Toledo Medical Center, formerly the Medical College of Ohio Hospital, where was listed in fair condition late today, UT spokesman Jon Strunk said.

After Ms. Leedy's vehicle hit Mr. Kerr’s car, it traveled off the north side of the roadway, and hit a boulder.

Ms. Leedy was transported to St. Luke’s Hospital with reported minor injuries. Her condition was unknown late today, a ProMedica Hospital spokesman said.

Ms. Leedy was transporting her three children and the father of her children at the time of the crash, a post dispatcher said.

Alexander Cole, 20, of Toledo; Ella Cole, 2; Avya Cole, and Gavin Cole, both 11 weeks old, were transported to St. Luke’s Hospital, also with minor injuries. No information on their conditions was available, a ProMedica spokesman said.

The crash remains under investigation.
