Anthony Wayne Trail to be site of sobriety checkpoint

Area law enforcement agents will conduct a sobriety checkpoint today on the Anthony Wayne Trail in Lucas County.

The checkpoint will be held from 8:30 p.m. to midnight, according to the Ohio Highway Patrol.

There will also be an increased number of law enforcement agents looking for impaired drivers, the patrol said. The checkpoint will be funded through a federal grant.
