Police seek suspect in Dundee bank robbery

DUNDEE, Mich. -- A man with a gun robbed the United Bank and Trust at this Monroe County community today.

There were no injuries, according to Dundee police.

About 9:25 a.m., a man walked into the bank at 260 Tecumseh St., displayed a note announcing the robbery, and showed a small black handgun to a bank teller. Once the robber received an unknown amount of cash, he "quietly walked out of the bank," according to a written statement released by police.

The gunman was described as being white, in his mid-20s, about 5 feet, 11 inches tall, and "very skinny." He was wearing a white ball cap, light-color pants, dark zippered jacket, sunglasses, and red tennis shoes.

No vehicle was seen, police said.
