A 10-year-old Toledo girl remained hospitalized today after being struck by a car in the central city the day before, authorities said.
Brooklyn Harris, of Fulton Street, was listed in critical condition at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center, a hospital spokesman said.
The girl was walking up to a convenience store at the the corner of West Bancroft and Fulton streets about 12:40 p.m. Tuesday when she stepped off the curb and was struck by a car driven by Lula King-Miles, 66, of North 12th Street, who was driving west on West Bancroft, according to Toledo police.
Ms. King-Miles was not injured.
There were no charges.
