BOWLING GREEN — Police arrested a Bowling Green State University student Tuesday for allegedly sexually assaulting another student.

Bowling Green police said they arrested William D. Jackson, 20, who lives at McDonald East residence hall, on one count of rape after a reported sexual assault of a young woman Sunday morning.

Police said officers were called to the yard of a residence at 802 E. Wooster St., where people pointed to Mr. Jackson and an unconscious woman. Police said investigation found Mr. Jackson did not know the victim and she was too intoxicated to consent.

She was taken to Wood County Hospital, treated, and released. Mr. Jackson was booked into the Wood County jail Tuesday.
