Info sought in Swanton heist

SWANTON — Police are seeking help in catching those responsible for breaking into a rural Swanton residence and making off with more that $100,000 worth of personal property.

Between Aug. 21 and 24, someone broke into a home in the 3200 block of U.S. 20-A and stole about $102,000 worth of firearms, ammunition, cash, and jewelry.

Anyone with information is encouraged to call the Fulton County Crime Stopper hotline at 1-800-255-1122.

Callers may remain anonymous and could be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
