3 injured in crash on I-475 in Sylvania Twp.

Three people were injured in a crash that tied up traffic for about an hour on westbound I-475 in Sylvania Township today, authorities said.

Two victims were taken to Flower Hospital and one to Mercy St. Anne Hospital, according to the Lucas County EMS. Their names and conditions were not released.

The crash occurred about 8:05 a.m. about a half mile west of Corey Road, according to township police.

Traffic on the highway started to return to normal about 9 a.m., police said.

The crash remained under investigation.
