A man wearing a Halloween mask with red and black hair affixed to it robbed an East Toledo store Sunday evening, police said.
A Rite Aid employee told police she had just closed her cash register when the masked man demanded she open it and give him cash, according to a police report.
The masked man then put a red steering wheel lock on the counter telling the cashier, “Don't mess with me. I'm having a bad day.”
The cashier gave the man $220 before he said, “That's enough,” and fled.
The robbery at 210 Main St. was reported at 6:50 p.m.
The suspect is described as approximately 5 feet, 9 inches tall, and 160 pounds. His race, eye, and real hair color were not available.
He was last seen wearing the Halloween mask, a dark-blue jacket, a white shirt, gray pants, and white sneakers.
