KENTON, Ohio — Authorities today identified the second of two men killed in a one-vehicle crash earlier this week.

Benjamin Fowler, 26, of Kenton, was identified as the second victim by the Montgomery County Coroner’s office, which had used his dental records to make an identification, the Ohio Highway Patrol said. Mr. Fowler was a passenger in a pickup truck driven by Michael Fay, 35, of Lima, who was identified by the patrol earlier this week.

Mr. Fay  was driving a stolen 1996 Chevrolet Silverado down a driveway in Kenton, when the vehicle, traveling about 55 or 60 miles per hour, struck a large rock and caught fire. The crash took place about 5:30 a.m. Tuesday, about an hour after the vehicle was stolen from the south side of Kenton, authorities said.

Kenton, which is in Hardin County, is about 70 miles south of Toledo.
