NORTH BALTIMORE, Ohio - A Deshler, Ohio, man was injured today when the tractor he was driving went off the road and rolled into a ditch on Allen Township Road 232, just north of Township Road 114, authorities said.

Roger Kindle, 65, had to be extricated from the tractor and was airlifted to Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center. A hospital spokesman confirmed that he was in the emergency room but had been stabilized.

According to the Hancock County Sheriff's Office, Mr. Kindle was operating the tractor with a grain trailer full of soybeans south on Township Road 232, when he lost control of the tractor and went off the right side of the road. The tractor rolled onto its side and was stuck in the ditch, forcing medical personnel to extricate him from the farm equipment.

The incident remains under investigation.
