Oregon checkpoint nets 3 drunk-driving arrests

Oregon police have released results of a sobriety checkpoint Saturday: Of 983 vehicles stopped, 40 drivers were diverted for more inspection, three were arrested for operating a vehicle while intoxicated, and four were cited for suspended licenses or not having valid licenses.

One was cited for a child restraint violation, and one issued a summons for outstanding warrants. The checkpoint was active from 10 p.m. to 2:30 a.m.
