Tractor-trailer jacknifed across NB I-75, interstate at standstill

Traffic on northbound I-75 was at near standstill late today as a tractor-trailer jacknifed across the interstate between the Collingwood Boulevard and downtown exits.

The incident was reported about 9:45 p.m. 

Police and fire crews were on the scene.

After 10 p.m., police began to divert traffic off I-75 at the Miami Street, South Avenue, and Collingwood exits. 

There were no immediate reports of injury. Firefighters requested sand to the scene to absorb fuel leaking from the semi.
