3rd suspect arrested in Waterville Township murder

A third suspect accused in the shooting death of a carryout owner was arrested Wednesday night.

Charged in Maumee Municipal Court with murder and aggravated robbery is Adam Anderson, 20, of 2436 Fulton St.

He is to be arraigned today.

James Safadi was shot and killed on May 18 in his Waterville Township home.

Previously charged were Ronald Rooker, 32, of 8930 S. River Rd., Mr. Safadi's neighbor, and James Allen, 18, of 1732 E. Westland Gardens Rd.

Both Rooker and Mr. Allen remain in the Lucas County jail in lieu of $5 million bond.
