Man found shot in Tiffin likely a suicide

TIFFIN — The death of a man found shot Sunday in a home on Clay Street is likely a suicide, authorities said today.

Tiffin police responding to a report of a person with a gunshot wound arrived about 8 p.m. and found the man dead, police said. The wound appears to be self-inflicted, according to police.

The incident remains under investigation.

Tiffin, the Seneca County seat, is about 50 miles southeast of Toledo.
