4 injuries reported in State Rt. 795 crash

Three victims of a two-car crash on State Rt. 795 in Perrysburg Township were taken to Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center and one went to Toledo Hospital late Sunday night, authorities said.

The crash near Crossroads Parkway was reported at 11:05 p.m. It is under investigation by the Ohio Highway Patrol.

Pierre Leduc, 20, of Elmore was driving west on Route 795 and failed to yield while turning left onto Crossroads, according to the patrol.

The car struck a car driven by Mandi Sparks, 40, of Genoa, the patrol reported.

Mr. Leduc, who wore a seat belt, was taken to Toledo Hospital. The patrol reported that his injuries were not life-threatening.

Ms. Sparks was taken to St. Vincent, along with her passengers, Jessica Sparks, 17, and Linda Miller, 71, all of Genoa. No one in the Sparks car wore a seat belt, according to the patrol, which described their injuries as serious, but not life-threatening.
